We are running Dementia Support Sessions - a
six session course with speakers from different
organisation's to ensure you have the information
and support needed throughout your diagnosis to help
you feel more confident and in control
of your dementia journey.

Sessions will run on the following Fridays: 9th June, 23rdJune, 7th July, 21st July, 4th August, 18th August 2023 from2pm until 4pm at
Park Barn, North St, Horsham RH12 1RJ.
These sessions are for people with dementia and their carers.

Dementia Action Week 2023 saw Horsham Central team up with The Alzheimer's Society at Orchard Surgery to organise a bake sale in order to raise funds for The Alzheimer's Society.

With the help of Orchard's Patient Participation Group (PPG), we raised over £315 which is fantastic!

We'd like to thank all those who baked, came to support and donated.

Our PPG was presented with a lovely certificate on the 8th of June following our Cake Sale during Dementia Awareness Week. Dawn Fairbrother of the Alzheimers Society and members of the Rusty Brains Horsham received over £315 to help support local activities for patients and their carers living with dementia.

Orchard Surgery PPG meet regularly with the practice and PCN team and is supporting several events taking place in the practice this year. If you would like to join the PPG please contact the practice. It would be fantastic to have more patients involved in shaping the way we provide care.
