DR YASMINE WEEKS
Practice Management
CLIVE FARRINGTON
Practice Manager
I have been the practice manager at Orchard Surgery for over 20 years. Despite the challenges that face us in the NHS, the surgery has always tried to provide the best care possible for our patients. My intention is always to ensure that I can enable my administrative staff, managers and clinicians to provide a quality service. In 2023 I will be reducing my commitment to part time working but the management team and I will continue to support staff to help our patients access the most appropriate care within the practice and the NHS.
BONNIE BRADFORD
Deputy practice manager
I have been working in NHS community care since 2015 where I was an operational manager for several departments within the Sussex MSK Partnership. I decided in 2022 that I wanted to develop and progress within primary care and work within a practice management team. What I like about Primary care is that our patients can access a wide variety of health services for their day-to-day health needs in their local area. Since I joined Orchard Surgery it has been nice to see staff at all levels having the opportunity to form long term relationships with patients and ensure that we aim to provide continuity of care from our close-knit team at the practice.
SARAH THOMPSON
Reception Manager
I have worked at Orchard Surgery for 13 years. I started out as a Receptionist and then took on the role as a Reception Manager. I have watched the surgery come through many changes, both of which have been challenging and also very rewarding. I enjoy interacting with our patients and have built up great relationships with them over the years. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to help our patients and get them the right care they need. With so many options now we can navigate them to the right service that is right for the patients’ needs. It is also nice for them to see a familiar friendly face when they walk in which straight away puts them at ease. We have a super team here at Orchard and I feel very lucky to be part of that team.
VICTORIA WEST
Reception Manager
I started working for the NHS in 1990 as a secretary at St Mary's Hospital, London. I have since worked in a variety of NHS settings in London, Brighton, Crawley and Horsham. In 2004 my daughter was born and I took a career break. We moved to the North East and then to Derbyshire. When we returned to Horsham I started working as a Care Navigator at Orchard Surgery in 2020, just before the pandemic. I then became Reception Manager in 2023. I really enjoy working with the team at Orchard Surgery. Every day is different and it's lovely to be able to build relationships with patients to help guide them to the care they need.

LISA WILKINSON
Nurses
NICOLA BRANDON
I am the nursing team lead. I started my career in the NHS as a paramedic and I then trained as a nurse and qualifying in 2013. I worked in the community nursing team to begin with, moving to general practice at Orchard Surgery in 2015. I have developed special interests in infection control, cytology, immunisations, diabetes, asthma and COPD. The role of the General Practice nurse in supporting our patients as part of a team is important. We aim to offer holistic patient- centred care and to develop relationships that empower our patients, giving them confidence in the practice team.
LAURA DAVY
I qualified in 2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic. I then worked at East Surrey hospital in various wards such as Elderly care. Having previously done a student nurse placement at Orchard surgery, I was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to join the team as a Practice nurse. I have a special interest in Dementia, Mental health and Learning disabilities. I really enjoy working at Orchard surgery and I feel lucky to be part of such a supportive team.
NATALYA COUPER
I qualified as a nurse in 2019 where I started on a general elderly care ward at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. I then moved onto Haematology/Oncology during Covid where I was giving chemotherapy and blood transfusions on a ward and day unit. I enjoyed the continuity of care and wanted to challenge myself to something different, as since a student, primary care has always interested me.
